So the fighting problem i had thankfully has reduced when i introduced more feeders and waterers are back and running thanks to the warmer weather. I know chickens fight and its normal. I guess im asking what to do if this pecking doesn't get resolved.
Two hens are just really at each other's throats. The fighting is new like only a couple hours. either My columbian wyandotte charges first or my black lacked one does first. Both are the same age and raised together. Both drew blood and i separated both and cleaned them as soon as i could cause i rather just avoid them pecking for blood.
I know most likely they will resolve this on their own when one eventually backs off. But if not what could i do? should i cage both of them seperately to calm them if its not resolved by tomorrow? do i get the no pick'n spray?
It just seems to be those two, and while My Columbian is the most broody there is no brood for her to be so defensive over
