Well, I thought that perhaps my son was a little rough with him and "turned" him bad. I have been doing the opposite approach and only being calm with him, etc. I haven't gotten daring enough to try to feed him out of my hand (he nearly broke my hand one time). As an instinct, when he attacked my husband, my husband reacted and the rooster went sailing across the coop as a result. That hasn't seemed to show Roy (roo) who was boss, so I'm not sure that would work with the water.

However, the toting thing sounds like it has possibility - basically humiliating him into submission!
