That sign is too funny! LOL Sorry about your 2 leg thieves. I had some of those in the city take my best show rabbit. Just cut the padlock right off. They also mixed different breed bucks with does so I had a ton of mutts I could not sale and had to let live with me until they all passed away from old age. I want a new rabbit now that I live out in the country and hopefully will not have that issue again.

I'm so sorry. That scares the poo out of me! I swear I heard someone in the woods behind our house yesterday. I haven't told my BF. He'll think I'm nuts because the woods are so thick, but a determined thief will do whatever they have to. There are a number of houses and even a trailer park within earshot of our place. It doesn't take a genius to figure out someone's keeping livestock. Will someone recommend a good game cam?

Even IF it was someone who was hungry thats NO excuse. Knock on my door and ask. I'd never turn a starving human being away. May make 'em work for it, but why not. I work for it.

I don't think it was for the chicken meat. Ummm there wouldn't be a handfull of meat if you fixed them all.

Nothing else has been taken so far so I have my 'fangers' crossed.

I really do wish they had left the Delawares. I was lucky enough that my wife snagged me 4 more from the feed store. One of my favorite chickens is the largest delaware the thieves either couldn't catch or just didn't bother with.
