Today my chicks are TWO months old! I think I have 6 pullets (3 RIR, 2 EE and 1 White Polish) and 1 cockerel (EE). Do you agree?

And is there any hope at all that Dude-aletta is a pullet? If not, what makes you so certain? Thank you 😊

That last one is definitely a cockerel. Besides the comb, he’s got dark red shoulder feathers, which is a sure sign of a cockerel.
Ok, thank you! Is that feather coloration specific to Easter eggers, or are red shoulder feathers a common male trait to other breeds too?

Red shoulders is common on cockerels even at a young age. Of course you wouldn't see them on a white bird. And it would be difficult to see on a RIR, a bird that is already red. It's very reliable for sexing several breeds.

Very cool! Thanks for the info.

I think you have two cockerels. 2 and the last one. The second one had the cockerel style tail feathers, kinda pointy and not broad like I would expect of a hen at this age and yes, as others have said the last one has a lot of redness in the comb and wattles.

Here are a couple more pics of that bird. Do these give any more clues to its sex?
