Two new additions?

Well first off, new to the forum as a member. Been reading ever since getting my first five hens a few months back. I went with 6 month old hens to start my flock.

Well, my buddy has a beautiful Rhode Island Red Rooster (HUGE). And some EE hens. Well the rooster has been busy and he has ended up with 15 chicks! All hatched out of blue or blue/green eggs. They are 8 weeks old now!

I took two to start with at 8 weeks old to add to my 5 hens I have.

Any idea on pullet or cockerel based on these pictures. I'll try to get better pictures tomorrow.

Here are my other girls. Two Australorps, One Silver laced Wyandotte, One EE, and One Fluffy Foot Cochin!

Henrietta, Fluffy Foot, Loco, Eggo, Clucky. All named by my kiddos. The two new additions are Noodle and Nugget!

They look like pullets, could you get a closer one of the comb? Of the first ones I mean, and the other girls are pretty!

OK, I will try to get some better comp pics tomorrow. Today is only day two at home and well, they escaped into a neighbors place today and well, that was a mess trying to get them back! They found a nice wood pile and wouldn't come out for a while!!!! Eventually made it back home this evening!

Both are probably pullets, but could you post more pics in a couple weeks so I can be sure?

I will, I want to find out as soon as possible too! My buddy is willing to trade out for another hen once old enough to tell for sure if we do end up with a roo.
