Two new silkie babies!! WOOT!

We had two babies hatch out! Tori is a nice dark silkie, looks almost black with a silver breast and underside and silver tipped wings!

Loulou is all silver! She is already my favorite! And she is gorgeous!!

Yes, I am sure it is a silkie! It'a blue silkie chick. The eggs came from Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain (aka TORI which is where my chick got her name!)

Loulou took 24 hours to hatch, is quite a bit weaker than Tori, so while Tori is still with Mama Loulou is in the house getting special care.

PC, it's too late for me. I have been sucked in!! I have 15 more sillkie eggs in the 'bator!

Notice how the silkie is looking at that bear? In Alaska
they use silkies to protect flocks from bear attacks.
