Two of my chickens are dying suddenly

Do you have updated, clear well-lit photos of her and her poop?

Work on getting drops of sugar water into her.

Not everyone wants vaccinated birds. The Marek's Vaccine only help lessen the chance of tumor formation, it does not stop infection from the Virus, so even if vaccinated, you can end up with birds presenting with symptoms and dying.
I apologize I’m just updating I’ve been sick, but she is doing the same. No changes, except breathing heavier. I’m doing all I can for my sweet girl, and even added additional treatment from all the helpful advice given. I wish I had a better update.

I'm sorry to hear you've been sick:hugs and that she's not improving either.

When you have time, can you tell what treatment(s) you have given and provide some updated photos of her and her poop?

I am so sorry I’m just getting back to update. My dad who is 80 has been sick.

I’m sad to say Ellie passed three days ago. I’m pretty sure it was Mereks. As for her treatment I gave her fluids with a syringe, nutra drench vitamins, vitamin E, I fed her chick feed softened. I also treated her with corrid because she did have diarrhea just in case coccidia was part of the issue. I find when we have heavy rains for days which was the case right before she got sick can flare that in chickens. Then we had an extreme cold front which didn’t help. My other chickens was fine, except for her and one other that passed suddenly. It makes me sad she didn’t pull through and survive, but I did all I knew to do. I also used an eye antibiotic tetracycline I think it was on her eyes which helped the swelling, but I do feel at this point it was the mereks disease that took her and the other. Thank you everyone for your advice and quick responses to help. God bless!

I hope your Dad gets better soon!

I'm sorry to hear about Ellie, you did all you could for her. You may be right that Marek's was affecting her. Marek's can weaken the system allowing other conditions and illnesses to take hold.

Thank you for coming back and updating the thread.
