Just checked the hatcher and 2 of the chicks seem to be panting. They aren't fully fluffed yet but wondering if I should move them to the brooder? I set the brooder up last night so it is warm.

I always leave the chicks in the incubator til the hatch is finished ...they should be just fine, I'm sure they are just resting and learning to breathe on their own.....If you have others pipping it will mess up your temps and humidity.... my thoughts...

What is the temp in your hatcher? Is your thermometer correct? I wouldnt open it yet but it sounds as if it is too hot in there for the chicks. Check your temp.
