Two part question

I can't take a picture at the moment but I can when I get home. The Niacin is a 500 mg time-release capsule. I only put about half of it in their water. They waste a lot of it so I was told half of the capsule would be fine. What do y'all suggest besides the savachick? Just continue doing the Niacin capsules?

No, Time Release does not work properly for them... it needs to be plain Niacin tablets or Vitamin B complex tablets (not Flush free either)... and for Pekins, I would be doing 150mg per gal of water... yes, they waste a lot, but they need this...

It's easier to make sure they get the proper amount if you use the flakes (see pic below...it's what I used). One tablespoon per cup of food. View attachment 1068395

I love the brewers yeast/nutritional yeast, but once there is a leg issue, it's better to go with Niacin in the water... or that can be added as well if the amount in water is not as much as it should be...

I'm going to admit that i have never ever supplemented niacin.

Proper feed, most ducks don't need it... Purina Flock Raiser has higher Niacin than regular chick feed... ;)

I have Pekin ducks and apparently they need it more often than not

And there's that! X2!
Especially this year for some reason... :/

Seems to me and it's only my opinion but when we have ducklings that are raised by ducks and on the ground right off they don't have the niacin issues that brooder raised ducklings can have. Moms know just what their kids need in nutrition.
I have to rec the Nutritional yeast that Debs flock gave. I buy bulk because I use it too.

Hey, I have been doing the B complex like you had suggested but my ducks legs are still crossed Is there anything else you could suggest?
