Just my two babes growing up from this years clutch.
I’ve not been able to think of names for them.

Two sweeties. Very social but do not like being touched which is fine by me.


What looks a bit horrifying in the emus mouth is the remains of a wild rabbit they and the dogs were eating. I assume the left over from a fox or eagle. They are invasive here.

Cuties! Are they wild ones or ones that are 'livestock' with the permit and all that?

I'm so looking forward to hatching some babies this year, hopefully from eggs from my own breeders. If not, I'm gonna get eggs from another breeder anyway.

We do have wild ones around, but these guys are captive bred and on license.


Hatching eggs sounds very exciting!

These guys were hatched by their Dad but funnily a lot more friendly than artificially incubated birds I previously had
