Two pips so far and it's only day 18!!!

I have 17 eggs in lockdown. It's only day 18 and I have two pips. Hope all goes well!

Good luck!! I had some early birds last time I hatched. I named the first one out Mimizu (which is Japanese for worm.) Happy hatching!

I just hatched a batch and the same thing happened. I had two thermometers in there and *thought* the temp. was right on, but it must have been a bit on the hot side. No worries though, I had 22/24 hatch out and they all seem to be happy and healthy 3-days later. I put them in cartons to hatch and stuck a piece of rubber shelf liner over the wire rack and it all worked great.

Thanks everyone that makes me feel better. I hope they turn out ok. I love broodys.

I have a momma hen with month old chicks right now. She is so sweet with them. She was my first experience with a broody. Keep me posted on what happens.

Day 18 for e too and nothing is happening I keep looking for some shakin and moving and pips but natta thing

I was afraid mine would be early cause I noticed a couple rocking yesterday. I've heard that sometimes they dont move at all so dont worry too much. I guess my temp was too high.
