Don't answer the nuts part!
Now that my DH has his GSD and all is well in that dept., I still want my pup. I would like a great pyrenees pup, but have also considered another GSD.
We aren't working with the pup on chickens yet. He's seen them twice. Ignored them once and wanted to play with them once. So for right now while everything is new to him we are just avoiding the chickens.
I figure if I'm housebreaking one, I might as well be housebreaking two. Let them learn with and from each other.
However, if I get a great pyr. I want to expose him to the chickens early. Ideally as adults, the GSD would be for my protection and the GP would be for the chickens protection.
Is it possible to train them each for their own task at the same time? Or should I wait until puppy #1 is trained to his task before I get a GP and train him for his?
Does any of this make sense?
