Two questions for the magical one

Pics
I’ve always wanted to take one but never have! We did have like a very brief little lesson one at scouts but that was it haha they said to kick the shins and scrape down their leg. Hurts worse than privates evidently. Also to carry your keys sticking through your fingers so you’re ready to jab somebody but this car has a push start 😭 might need to start carrying the house key or a knife haha I brought a whistle tonight. I also am constantly looking around and try as hard as possible not to use my phone in the parking lot or look down or wear a hood since I know that can all make people targets. I try to look like I’m very aware and confident even if I’m usually not and hunch over 😂🤣 I also have started finding my keys before going out and get in quick and lock the door since I’ve seen too many horror stories where woman have their head in their car and get attacked from behind.
My sister was taught to grip the key tightly between finger and thumb, like you're passing a pencil to someone. That way, you can get at someone easier and twist it into them.
Back into your car when you get in. Don't go in headlong -- open the door, turn around, lift one leg back, and easy your way in heinie-first, leaning forward to avoid whacking your head on the frame.
Walk confidently. Keep your purse on your shoulder, gripping it firmly by the handle or keeping your hand on the main part, hold your head up high, and walk confidently -- even if you don't know where you're going. Look like you know what you're doing and exactly where you're going.

I never would have thought to back in!! That’s a great idea!! I always get soooo nervous getting in! Even if I’m really fast. I just get worried in that split second someone is gonna come up. And yeah, I usually always hold onto my purse and I need to start putting my phone away too. I usually always carry it under my arm or hold it in my hand or sometimes pocket but not often and people attack you for those things! I try to look aware and stuff. And I need to start taking better care of myself too cause I’ve heard they go after people that look kinda out of sorts or whatever haha

Also, try to memorize some pressure (weak?) points. Royal jewels, stomach, diaphragm, breastbone (an inch or two beneath the clavicles), throat, lips, nose, and the back or side of the knee are some, I think.
Makes sense! Though I’ve heard the bits aren’t as sensitive as we’ve been led to believe from movies? Lol or rather, they don’t go down that easily and a lot wear cups now?

Keep your purse close to your body. If it has a handle, do keep it over your shoulder.

Also, quick question for @MarkJr -- if someone tries to jab you in the stomach, you should exhale and empty your stomach of air, right?
