Two seemingly healthy roosters dead within two days of eachother

Chickens have a habit where if an individual looks weak, they try to kill it. Even day old chicks will do this. They trample it and stand on it, as if trying to crush it to death.
I wouldn't say a crazy neighbor killed it... that's a bit far fetched right now, we should have more information before making accusations.

Look for weird poops, or weird acting chickens. Is anyone sneezing? Are they thin at all? Has the weather been bad or extreme? (Super hot, super cold, super wet, super dry, etc)

None of their poops look weird. It has been super wet lately and obviously hot. I have had a problem with scaley leg mites but those two did not have it. The two roosters that died were both strong alphas so they werent being attacked by anyone.

Collapsed with wings spread out sounds like heat stroke. What’s your climate like? Any pictures of coop set-up?

I live in NJ. I have a fully fenced back yard and really no neighbors. My chickens do free range during the day. The only reason i thought the first rooster was trampled by the other birds was because he was at the bottom of the ramp of the coop and his wings were kind of spread out. He was still alive but barely breathing. I brought him inside and inspected him and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. The second rooster was in the coop with one of the hens who was laying an egg. I inspected him also and he had no marking on him at all. Maybe I should dump their food? I recently bought two new bags.

That's weird... did he have fresh water available? Could they be dying from the heat?

Fresh water everyday and its been in the 80s so not super hot. Im going to have my husband dump their food and ill buy new just as a precaution. This is just so weird and random.. i dont know what else to do.

It is weird and random. Sorry I'm not much help. Do you have a vet that does fecal floats? You could gather up fresh poop and bring it to them, they can check for worms and parasites.

Probably not what's wrong with your birds but possibly an illness? Are any other chickens acting 'off'? I lost 6 birds in 4 days a few weeks ago due to coccidossis(spelling?) Thankfully I got Corid and fixed the situation. They acted like slugs, weak and listless, died within hours.

None are acting off at all. No blood on poop or watery poop that i can see.
