Two Super Easy Methods to Peel Boiled Eggs!

Tried both methods again this morning. Tried 1 blue egg: Crack. And 1 brown egg: Shake. Both eggs laid this morning. Didn't shake the brown egg as hard as I did yesterday. Both eggs peeled beautifully!! The shaked one was slightly harder to peel. I had to peel it under running water.

London, Thanks so much for posting both methods. Now, I have options when peeling freshly laid eggs.
I place mine in a steamer and turn the heat on med high. After 20 minutes turn off the heat and enjoy PERFECT eggs. Any kind of steamer will work. I use a bamboo one inside of a pan. I have used this method for the past year and would never try anything else because they turn out perfect and the shells just slide off once cracked. The 20 minutes is for a hard boiled egg. 15 minutes would produce a medium hard, 10 minutes soft boiled.

Urban... Thanks for responding... What do you mean by steamer? Do you place the eggs into water? 20 mintues seems like a very long time to boil eggs in water, would mind further explaining, perhaps even posting an image? Does it work on brown and duck eggs? ~L

I watched both videos...think I will try both. But I have seen a better video for shaking. In that video they use like a mason jar or something with a lid--that way there's not water being shaken all over the place.
