So I have 2 tetra tint chicks and I have done so much research on signs of a rooster or a hen I have looked up feather sexing and did try to vent check. But these two have me stumped. I have one that is pretty much all white and is bigger and it's comb has already turned red.... But... It's tail fethers look kinda rounded and I read that that is a sign of a hen... :/ But the red comb is a sign of a rooster :/ :/ ... Then the other one has a yellow comb still ( both came from same hatch) which from everything I read that pushes towres being a hen... But... It's tail looks up uniformed and kinda pointed down which I read is a sign of a rooster... :/ I know they are mixed breed but is there no way I can figure out before one crows or lays an egg... These two have me stumped... Any advice???

I have one tetra tint about 6-7 weeks old. Here's a pic at 5 weeks if you want another to compare.

Suppose to be great layers I hear. I just have the one.

Thank you so much for everyone's answers and that is what I was thinking just from the comb alone but the fethers threw me off and made me question. Merry Christmas everyone and thank you again for the input!!
