Two toe nails

My silkie americauna mix has two toe nails on one toe. We just noticed it today. Never seen or if it before. I know silkies have 5 toes, is it possible she just didn’t grow the other toe. She’s got 4 toes on her foot.

I would say that genetically she got the extra toe nail without the extra toe. I don't think there's anything to worry about. From what I can see of her in the photo she looks very pretty.

She’s very pretty and her feathers are some of the softest I’ve ever touched.
