Two week old Barred Rock keeps biting me!

I think you've got a cockrel on your hands. Does he often stand at attention while the others are lounging around?

Spend some time getting to know him, pet him, and love on him. He will probably get used to you eventually. I have 14 barred rocks and I have one that does the same thing. At this point he is starting to show rooster qualities which explains his aggression. Probably what is going on with yours as well.

I definitely think he is one. He came with four other "packing peanuts" and is named Napoleon because he is the smallest and the one that appears to be "in charge".

Oh, he loves to sit on my hand/arm! I hope to get some babies out of him and my other BR, Scallop. I love BRs, but for some reason looking at a flock of them make me dizzy, especially if they are close together.
