In my opinion, this is rooster behavior.

I agree, it is rooster behavior. However that does not translate into it IS a rooster. I have a cat that watches TV all day, whines for food, and ignores me when I call for her; that does not make it a teenager.

You can't determine gender by behavior, if they are all male, all female or both, they may spar or try to establish a bit of a pecking order. I do think with BRs that you will see a very early difference in the two genders in that the boys will get their combs growing a lot sooner. You could have gotten some boys, but just remember that chick sexing is not a 100% accurate thing. However, I just recently read this, the size of the white spot on the head can help you determine which is which. The both look to me to be the same gender. I would think too from the feathers coming in that they are pullets.
I hope so for your sake.

I have bought EE's twice and sexing errors occured both times. If you must Worry - watch out for the EE that the barred was acting out with.

In the meantime, I think they are ONLY ACTING LIKE CHILDREN AND PLAYING. Your barred may just be more flighty. My leghorns were the first to hop on anything that could be perched from. All the leghorns were pullets.
