Tylan 50 not working

Okay so I had one bird who for sure caught Coryza last week. Half her face was swollen, eyes and nose running, and An infected smell. I treated her with Tylan 50 and she is almost recovered. I had two other bird who were breathing funny and had runny noses and sneezing periodically so I went ahead and treated them as well. Well I’m on day 4 of treatment and the two other birds symptoms aren’t going away. Any ideas/solutions?

Coryza is not good news.
Tylan alone will not help with Coryza.

Is a vet an option to get stronger medicines?

You do understand the right thing to do is to keep a closed flock right?
You should never let birds leave your property.
This is not something that goes away.
Your birds are carriers for life.

There is something you can order online that will help symptoms but it is not labeled for use in birds in the USA anymore.

A sulfa drug such as sulmet or sulfadimethoxine in combination with tylan 50 or baytril will treat coryza. You will need a prescription from a vet to get a sulfa drug.
However, here is a link where you can get SMZ-TMP, no script required. Use it in conjunction with tylan 50. I recommend the 100 count, coryza will easily spread through your flock.

Jeffers has it, no script needed. It's very potent at 40%, 1ml per 16 pounds of body weight for cattle. Dosage for a chicken should be 1/4ml maybe 1/8ml depending on weight of the bird.

The label say IV in cattle I think, but Plumb's mentions it can be given IM in dogs and cats, so I guessing that it can be given IM in poultry too. And I read somewhere that it could be given orally.
