I have a bird that passed about a month ago. Talked to doctor today and he listen to all the symptoms she had had and all. He seemed to think it was worms or anything else. He didn't seem to think it was cocci or anything because, he said these things would be a flock problem. He said at 2 and half years of age there are all kinds of things she might of passed from that were just something she had like or tumor or other things etc.
My concern is in the last couple of days one of my girls has had a little bit of runs and I am scared since I just had the one die a month ago. The doc told me I could give her Tylan just in case there was any kind of infection going on in the intestines. I went to look Tylan up on line and its said it is for respiratory problems. I am confused has anyone heard of using this for the runs or did this doc have a brain toot when he was talking to me? Oh yeh, he told me he couldn't tell me for sure if she had anything unless I let them kill her and do an autopsy. Well she just has a little runs and that it and I don't think I could do that. I mean imagine if they autopsied us anytime someone got the runs the world would run out of people. There has to be a better way to figure out how to help her.
Any help is appreciated
