Tylosin w/o Rx?

Can you post some photos of the bird that is not recovering?
She’s a 12 week old barred rock. Just now the eye was open slightly so I could actually see some white stuff inside. This looks similar but kind of different then last week. Almost like it growing on the actual eye ball.

As far as culling, I guess I could try to defeat her and cook her? Never thought I’d be doing that with layer chickens, but I feel like it might be a way to bring purpose to killing her to preserve the flock. The other birds are definitely exposed, just seem healthy at the moment.

Glad the AmTyl worked for your situation. Looking at your thread, it seems you weren't seeing any symptoms I would relate to as MG as compared to what the OP is saying (they have confirmed testing of MG and MG symptomatic birds).
As mentioned/explained - the combo of Doxy-Tyl that the OP is using now is better to use for treating symptoms of MG instead of the AmxTyl since Mycoplasma has no cell wall. Amoxicillin acts against a cell wall, so it's not an effective treatment for MG. Not all antibiotics are created equal or treat all bacterial infections in the same way. The AmTyl is a good medication to have on hand - it can be used to treat a number of things, but it would not be my choice for treating symptoms of MG, especially when the OP is already using an effective medication. Make sense?

100% makes sense!!! Not sure what my chicks had. Crackling noises and sneezing, maybe just a simple respitory infection?

I'm so sorry.😥

I just dealt with mycoplasma in my flock. I purchased new chicks that were infected. I culled the chicks and managed to save my established flock. If it were me, I’d cull. There’s a chance your birds don’t have it yet, but the longer there’s an infected bird on the property the higher the chances are that they will.

Poor thing, she does have pus in the eye, can you press it out?
I just gave it another shot. The eye is fully opened now. I'm going to say this with the expectation that you don't believe me because this is my first chicken eye infection, BUT...it doesn't look like chicken puss. It's different from what I pressed out before. The stuff before what like cottage cheese. This is like white tissue. This looks like...cancer...or scar tissue...that has formed on and eaten into the eye ball. It's connected to darker almost blackish tissue that would have been the eye ball and its connected to what looks like "healthy" pink issue. I had tweezers and I could have tried (harder than I did) to excavate all of it, but since it was connected to healthy tissue and since that seemed rather brutal...I decided against it. I did poke at it quite a bit and it wasn't readily budging. It's almost like perhaps the antibiotic are working a bit and the eye ball is now necrotic. Anyway, I flushed it out again and put more antibiotic ointment on the eye. We'll see how this progresses. I wasn't remembering right on days on antibiotics. She has two more days on it. I'll give her those days and see what happens.

Good description.
I do believe you, I hope you didn't think I was doubting you :(
I it's attached like that and you feel the eye may be lost, then it very well could be another disease, infection, etc. accompanying the MG which is not uncommon.

I hope you do see some improvement. Please keep us posted on how she's doing.

She’s still here. Doing fine. Eye still looks like this after full course of antibiotics. It doesn’t smell. She’s able to get around fine with just one eye. This white stuff seems to be tissue not chicken puss? bc it doesn’t smudge?
