right now its on hold, I am waiting to hear from the owner if they want to tru to continue the swap, the first one no one sjowed up
 
I was planning to go-- mishap with turkeys and no one at home to corral them so I could leave for the swap.

I'm VERY interested in bringing a variety of chicks, hatching eggs, turkeys , ducklings hopefully, and some misc. items.

Are others interested in selling??
 
I have some bantam chicks to sell - Nankin, Japanese and blue Belgian D'anvers. Am interested in buying, also - ducklings or ducks, maybe a turkey poult.

Terrible that no one showed up for the last swap. Maybe the weather? It's getting nice now, and that brings out the swappers.
 
I hope the good weather brings many sellers and buyers!! I have poults waitinf for buyers as well as designer chicks ( lt olive green egg layers) and speckled sussex and buff orpington chicks. Very CUTE. THe muscovy hens are working on making ducklings which will be for sale.

What kind of poult are you looking for??

If I got another turkey, I would like a Bourbon Red, but would consider other breeds including Narragansett, Blue Slate and Royal Palm.
For many years I had a Bourbon Red tom as a pet. Very gentle and got along great with the chickens and waterfowl (except for occasional run-ins with the gander!).

I think THat is why I fell for turkeys. My first turkeys were Bourbons and the Tom ( Thomas Edison) is a quiet laid back gentle fellow. HIs son's are the same.

Trying to get some poults to hatch this summer. Trying for some sweetgrass too.
 
whens the next swap, Im lookin for some laying hens, or ready to lay, I need to mix up my flock with dome EE or BCm's
