Hi Keesmom,
I'm pretty open about ducks, though I do like good layers. I have khaki Campbells and wouldn't mind one or two more females. But Indian runners would also be good. Also, even though they're not as good as layers, the other dabbling breeds like Cayuga, Rouen, etc. are also possibilities. The only ones I'm not interested in at this time are muscovies and calls.
 
Great news, tyngboro swap is ON for june 16, lets make this a great swap , it will be in the new england bantam club news letter for june so word will go out to alot of chicken peeps
 
That's great, and congrats on getting the swap back on track. I'll be there with some bantam chicks. And looking forward to "shopping" for poults and ducklings!

I'm waiting to hear back from someone about the ducklings. If they aren't interested I have a few sexed female Rouen, Buff and Black Swedish from Metzer, hatched May 13.

Just remembered that my flock blood test isn't current and I won't be able to have the inspector out for a few weeks, so I won't be bringing chicks. But I will be bringing garden related items and plants.

How can we advertise this swap and drum up both sellers and buyers?????

When will the bantam newsletter get published???? Often newsletters go out the end of the month--is the Bantam newsletter coming out sooon??
 
They said they will have the date of the 16 in it so I assume it will be out this week, hopeing, the best thing is keep advertiseing it, craigslist, here on threads that r in the area, flyers around everywhere u think possible

I am an hour away-- do you think fliers this far away will help??? Perhaps there are folks that can post fliers around the TYngsboro area, at the feed stores, grocery stores, etc. ANyone willing to do that??
