Type of wood for run frame

    What type of wood did you use at the base frame for your run? We bought standard 2x4's, but wondering if those will just rot and we ought to exchange them for pressure treated or something else like painting the 2x4's?

    trade them for pressure treated and then paint them. The pressure treatment is an anti bug treatment to keep termites from enjoying the benefits of your labor. They still need to be stained or painted, but it's best if you wait until they completely dry out, let them air out in the sun for a month or maybe two, then paint them
