ugh, candled an egg...

Well I saw some dark specs but no squiggle lines and it looked like there was a bubble in the egg... I put it back just incase but my fear is they are all bad :'(

What day of incubation is it? Also, could you post pics of it being candled, I might be able to tell for sure.

This is day 7 under my hen, I don't know if I can get another one out from under her without her trying to take my hand off

When she gets up to eat you could quickly grab an egg to candle. And when you say you saw a bubble in the egg, where was it located? There is an air cell at the fat end of the egg that resembles a bubble, so that may be what you saw. The blotches you observed may be the beginning of an embryo or it may be a dead embryo or bacteria.
