Jeff, QUIT TEMPTING me with the ducks!!!

LMAO! The Nutria are nocturnal too! So they and the woodies could party together! I have a vet that is gonna neuter Rosceaux. He really is quite sweet! But then I love most animals!

Question... my 17 yo hunts duck. Quite delish. But he bleeds them in salt water for 3 days. You don't do this with the quails?

Many Folks Brine Them... They Are Not As Gamey As Wild Duck, And If Your Used To The Gamey Flavor Like Me And The Kids Are It Doesnt Seem Necessary, But Ultimately Its Personal Preference. In My Personal Life I May Buy Enough Meat At The Grocery Store To Fill 1/2 A Buggy Over The Course Of Any Given Year.. We Are Avid Hunters And Outdoorsmen And Average Game Meat 5 Nights A Week So My Views On What To Brine And What Not To Brine May Be A Lil Skewwed...

Yea!!! Let me know how that goes. I took me a second to figure out what you were talking about. No wonder Cinn is acting like a brat lately. Mine are not laying yet but maybe here shortly.

So Far Only The 2 Eggs... Being 1st Yr Breeders I Am Doubtful They Will Be Fertile Yet But Cinny Jr Is Sure Getting Rowdy In There-- Tweetin And Twerpin And Dancing About, Knocking The Perches Down And Bein A Rowdy/ Randy Teenage Lad In General. None Of My Reds Even Look Interested In Procreation Yet. So Maybe A Fluke... But We'll See

I know that you are busy but, I would love to see a pic of him and how he is coloring out. Almost kept that brat but had to make room for more quail!!
