Where did you wake up this morning? What view was waiting to greet you?

My husband laughed at my reaction when I walked out and saw this...

my mom lives over by Delton/Hastings area. When I talked to her yesterday she said she had about 6 inches and it was still snowing. We got flurries this morning but nothing the ground - buy BOY did it get cold last night, like down to 15 degrees.

I rarely get a lot of snow down here, and it usually isn't this cold so early in the winter - I have a feeling I may be seeing some of that white stuff this year.

I was just glad that I didn't have to work this weekend.

I even got to sleep in cuz the hubby went out and did the chicken chores. Although, I do see some shoveling in my immediate future.

I love the snow! 2 winters ago (my first winter to ever see snow) we had a 7" first snow on 11/30 and then a couple of inches every ocuple of weeks. I love it.

Last winter, hardly any snow at all...just COLD and CRAZY WINDS!

So far, even though all the locals say we're going to have a snowy, hard winter....well....not even a flurry or snow shower yet.

Bring on the snow!

Hey, I still live in WI. Can't seem to ever leave...
I can honestly say we have been pretty lucky so far this year with not having to much snow. Got a little last night, but not like the picture in the original post....
I always said my perfect winter snow is to snow Christmas Eve, be here for Christmas morning and be completely melted but the 26th of Dec. I really do not like the snow at all...Maybe if it stayed off the road and my truck I wouldn't mind so much....
