Uh, is someone ready for lockdown a little early?

Keep watching for a bit.
I'm sure he's still absorbing yolk, they absorb almost up until the moment they hatch.
He might just not be making the motions for whatever reason.
Meant to add "will do." My brain is fried, lol. I've been using a flashlight to watch him in the aquarium.

They usually take at least 24 hours from internal to external pip too, lol.
I wouldn't do any safety holes, I'm personally not a fan of them and they can make the process take longer.
I did this one's safety hole after 30+ hours, so if I were to make one, I'd wait at least that long.

Have you tried to moisten the membrane at all? Since the hole is big enough to get a q-tip thru, I would probably try to get some coconut oil or Vaseline in there. It would allow you to see if any veins are still prominent, or if they are receding well.

I haven't, but I haven't seen any veins when I look closely with the light. Just a beak and a foot.

I will give that a try the next time I add water!

I'm sorry that happened.
I'm angry at myself because I suspected I was reading outdated information after 4 months solid of reading about incubation every day. People seem to be adamantly in the camp of dry hatch or higher humidity. I tried asking people why the advice was so polarised but it was only recently that a member here highlighted that old fashioned kerosene incubators are the main reason so many sources say up to 80% humidity. Generally excessive unless in a desert. I endeavor not to be so foolish again.
