Okay good, I unfortunately can’t have roosters so i worried she’d do this all the time lolFrom my experience they do it every now and then to assert themselves in the flock.. maybe a couple times a month if that...
Some crow routinely, some crow periodically, and some crow for a spell and then stop. Only time will tell which path she will follow.Will she continue to crow like this? or maybe once in a while she will do it?
It could be that she’s getting ready to lay, she is at that age and she was checking out the nesting box yesterday! I don’t think the neighbors will complain but if they do i’ll be their egg dealer LOL. Thank you!She shouldn't..if your neighbors complain bring over some eggs and say the newbies are establishing their pecking order over the next few weeks.. she may also be getting ready to lay and all weird noises start then lol. That's a pullet for sure. The others also look female.These are the only good photos i have of her…. in the last one you can see her comb better
