Uh oh...I've not yet experienced a broody!

She may not be completely broke of her broody mood, yet. I've observed that my own broodies will occasionally come off the nest to do things, then go back in the earliest stages. Especially if it's hot outside. There comes a point in their broodiness, where they won't come out for anything, but they seem to just toy with the idea for a week or maybe two before really committing. That being said, as long as she's taking care of herself, it might buy you some time to decide what you want to do if she does indeed commit to sitting.

I could handle that. I'll have the run finished by next week. Then it's the bigger coop I need to cobble together. This small coop could be a broody house, a recuperation house, an integration house, whatever.
I love raising chickens! Fun!

Eh...maybe broody...I've seen hens do that when in the nest to lay if 'disturbed' by another bird, or me.
I collect eggs frequently and often take them from under a hen in the nest.
Even tho they are used to me doing that some still fuss and squawk and bite.
I don't call 'broody' until they've been on the nest most the day and all night for 3 days running, then I either break them or move them to where I want them to set.

But sounds like if she does go broody you'll be ready!
