Uhoh I have a big duck

@Kimminykricket37, how much does he weigh? A mature mallard will weigh about 3-4 pounds I think, but a Rouen will weigh 6-8 pounds. Can he fly? Mallards a excellent fliers, Rouens don't fly.

Are you sure? I had 3 Rouens I bought from TSC and when they grew up, they flew. They would fly to the lake everyday and come back home at night. They were big ducks too.

Lol, not 100% sure. The few I have can't fly at all.

He is a Rouen. But by his markings I don't think he is full blooded. A bit to much splash in his wing feathers. They do not fly. He is very beautiful. Find him a couple ladies and enjoy their eggs!

I suggest getting more female ducks they’re not very expensive and it should be easier than finding a home for a drake. Also duck eggs are AMAZINGGGG

So I have a problem. My male duck has 2 females to mate with but that's obviously not good enough! the 2 girls walk around together and are the best of friends while the male duck tries to bother the chicken hens. Question is... should I just sell the male? Or sell the 2 hens as well, which don't cause me any problems?

Drakes will go after chicken hens so the obvious would be to sell the drake unless you can separate the 3 ducks from the chickens
