I'm confused

it states that 9 cases of this bird flu were found at this swan sanctuary but then it goes on to say we are closely monitoring all our swans

I thought all birds had to be killed????

I'm sure I will just looking around to see what people talk about, I joined to find some tips and advise on sourcrop initially as my silkie had gone down with it unfortunately she passed away early hours of this morning,I did however pick up a lot of useful information,we are new to keeping chickens,but I had racing pigeons for year's

They are we have a pair left now 2 Whits paint hen has recently laid her first batch of eggs.racing pigeons is Indeed fascination, I am thinkg of going into the show side in the future with show racers they are beautiful birds

Oh sorry for my money if they are all living on lake together then they should be culled otherwise they can go round and spread it to Amy other bird.
I believe they are a protected bird but if they are gonna kill each other then maybe kinda to do it humanely

This is not the first time bird flu has raised its head again the government and authoritys are scare mongering there will always be some kind of threat bird flu, swine flu etc.. Yes swans are protected but if infected then do need to be culled, hope this bird flu soon goes away, I remember an outbreak years back when racing pigeons we had a transporter stuck in France for over 2 weeks wasn't a very good outcome sadly

Me too many theories about It but none proven,iv had birds that have flown over 500 mile in a day and some that were lost a mile from home all very intreging. We are hoping to start showing our chucks at somepoint
