They have yes! They are far to attached!

Did you only have 2 polish hatch?
That is to sweet! Unfortunately yes I was expecting problems as they were shipped but when I opened them up most were in strange positions another internally pipped then died and one died during zipping. Oh and another's yolk broke just before it was fully absorbed

:(

That's such a shame on the polish. There is a great section on shipped eggs in here ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101
How often did you turn them?

I have a turner it turns every two hours. I didn't plug it in the first couple days to let the aircell settle which worked great but hasn't so much with my calls the aircells are still abit wobbly. The polish chicks inside were beautiful aswell some chestnut colours which really disappointed me

That is such a disappointment :(

You did everything right regards turning for shipped eggs so it could have been how they were stored prior to them being sent to you.

Good luck with calls :fl

I just set 9 more goose eggs this afternoon

Worst thing is I bought 24 Aylesbury eggs waited a week and candled and none were fertile I would send them back but I'd have to pay for postage again. I really wanna try goose eggs! How's the little ones doing?

:/ Were they eBay eggs? I'd be asking the seller to return money or send more eggs if I were you. I don't like eBay for eggs, too many unscrupulous sellers on there for my liking. I try to use real breeders with their own websites for shipped eggs.

The little ones are doing good thanks :D I took them back to the farmer I got the eggs from this morning up the village, a little sad they are gone and it broke my heart as I walked away from them as they were calling me and trying to follow :hit I know he will look after them though and I just don't have the room. It was always the plan he would have them back and it will be the same with any that hatch from these 9 new eggs. I can go see them whenever I like though which is nice.

I've tried researching but can't seem to find any breeders about that's why I tried eBay! Won't be using it again. Aww I bet that was emotional! Atleast you can go see them and I expect they'll remember you. I would have to do the same if I hatched geese I have no room either. That's if my calls hatch though!

Good luck with your Calls.... :fl Don't be scared to make them 'safety holes'- I only read that most people do this, once it was too late for my little ones :( (although I still got 1).
