I wonder if any of you can help me? I am trying to find pure oyster shells without grit or mixed at all for my flock but so far the only I can find has added grit (or is mixed) Any chance that any of you know of an online shop which sells pure oyster shells - either in the UK or ships to the UK?

Perhaps you can collect as needed from the shore? I assume there oysters around Ipswich...?

Although that sounds like a fun activity for the family, after a few times it might get a bit dull. I get mine from Wynnstay, a farm-supply store chain specific to Wales/Midlands. I'm assuming there's bound to be something similar down where you are @Anna Ranieri. We baked Christmas cakes today so saved all the shells and baked them to crush up and feed back; I only bother when we use a large number (54!), but I'm sure you could collect them up to bake off at the end of the week.

Sorry about your weird neighbours @Chickencountryuk. Get that game-cam set up stat; hopefully they're not making unwelcome visits to your birds.

This year we've had a lot of rain compared to other years. Last year it was so hot from June onwards you couldn't breath outside. This year it didn't get much above 32 deg C.

We had a couple of months roasting hot weather here over summer, it was too much some of the time but I miss it now I'm cold! There's no pleasing me!

I had three, one was my big coat that I dug out! Oh and a pair of gloves that I had to hunt for
