Hi! I'm Boo way down south in the Channel Islands - Jersey ☺
They're too cute !
You both know more about this than me... but I've only had Jamie 1 week, so I'm v.happy, but v.surprised.
After the earlier attempts this year to hatch some babies I didn't want to get my hopes up too much.
Ah what beautiful goslings! I bet you miss them and their mess really!
The minute I put Jesus ( our cockerel) in with our hens I noticed the change in the eggs. The 'bullseye' is quite prominent once you know what to look for. If he's a good cockerel, and Jesus certainly is(!) then the eggs will be fertile almost straight away. You both know more about this than me... but I've only had Jamie 1 week, so I'm v.happy, but v.surprised.

Hopefully I'll have my own soon! Day 25 tomorrow....![]()
Not locked down yet no. Its day 25 today but there's been lots of wiggling and one egg air cell dropped dramatically with slight shadowing at the back of the cell. Because of this, I stopped turning today and positioned them all with the largest part of the air cell pointing upwards. Thanks, it's pretty quiet without and especially more so since I rehomed the cockerel the yesterdayAt least my neighbors should be happy now!
Have you locked down your goose eggs?![]()
