UK Member Please Say HI

Hi @Nethielka. My missus did her back in a couple of weeks ago. She tried heat pads and something called fisio cream. They seemed to give some degree of comfort but she had to go to doctors. The only thing that WILL work was prescription painkillers and taking it easy. I know it's difficult when you have jobs to do but you got to think of yourself. It took about 2-3 weeks for her to get fully better. There is nothing worse than doing your back in.

If needs be go to A&E. I know it means a wait but you should get to see someone and some painkillers. It will be sooner than being able to get a doctors appointment. Especially over the bankholiday weekend.

Seen a doctor now, on a very nice combination of Paracetamol+Ibuprophen+Codein and I can sorta move. Apparently its a very bad muscle strain. She poked me in it and I almost punched a wall... Ouch.

The weather is so nice, I can't believe it.

Sorry to hear of your losses Chickencountryuk, I adored what Yorshire coop posted, its very heartwarming.
My chickens have been going nuts and i realized i needed to rip the plastic off the run and allow some breeze to go in so thats fine. On another note the propogator llid slipped out of my hand and cracked an egg two days ago... I immediately put some sellotape over the crack and prayed. Anyway luck came this way and it hatched this morning... here is a pic you can see the sellotape on the egg behind.. im naming him/her `Chips`. Im just waiting for one more egg to hatch.

Wow! That's brilliant! I'm so happy you've hatched them! That's definitely a first using sellotape! But it worked. You need to share this tip on the incubating and hatching thread.
My hens have been sat following the shade. I love a bit of warm weather but I'm feeling a bit well done now! Post some pics when all your little ones are here.
