Thanks. It just seems alot in a short time. I've actually lost six in the past eight weeks. Only two were old age. Even though 4 isn't really old. But they were warrens. But on a plus note, I candled my eggs and all eight seem to be doing well! I couldn't see anything in there it was just dark with a lighter part at the bottom. I've heard this is normal for Araucana eggs. How are your eggs doing @Nethielka? And how are your chicks @Warriorgal? I hope Alls doing good.

I’m afraid that’s just how the cookie crumbles sometimes They sure know how to tug on the heart strings!

On the eggs! Did you candle with light shining into the fat/air cell end of the egg?

I might have a sneaky peak at these goose eggs when it gets dark, only day 9 though......

I tried all round. I did see the lighter part for the air sac and it was lighter at the bottom too. I tried to be quick as not too handle them to long. I'm going to have a look again on Saturday but at night with all the lights off! I do want these eggs to hatch so much! How many goose eggs do you have?

Yeah, off the strong stuff now, just regular ibuprophen seems to work now. My partner had a spinal surgery yesterday so we are both weird hunched up people now

It’s always best at night in the dark, really does help with seeing in there!

I have 9 eggs set, can’t fit anymore in unfortunately and I don’t want to babysit the other incubator. To be quite honest I don’t have time at the moment to babysit anything!

After have the quail in there last time these seem massive!

Oh gosh that is unfortunate you both have a bad back!
Good to hear you are off the stronger stuff but don’t push yourself too fast and end up back at square one!!
