It feels really good. Knowing they are healthy. I can give them a good home - hopefully they'll range in the garden and I'll keep them safe at night time.

There's one egg left that only pipped this morning once the rabble had left the Brinsea which I'm waiting still to come out. It's cheeping in it's shell.

They're adorably cute at the minute. Just starting to venture out from the brooder.
Hopefully some lucky vibes can head your way.

Oh no I've done it loads of times now I should probably change my name lol. Must of been a late bloomer! So what's your hatch rate all together then? Thankyou I hope mine hatch I need some more chickens I'm getting overrun by ducks

1 wasn't fertile
6 into lockdown
5 hatched with 1 pipped waiting to zip. Assuming it's all ok in there... that's 100% hatch rate.

That's brilliant!! I don't think I've had one normal hatch yet all have had problems. They're shipped though! I might just get rid of the "new" and just be chick-mama

Oh I have 3 pips! Out of 5. Thought I could hear cheeping but it's hard in the room their in as I have others in there. Hopefully be here soon

I would get some coconut oil on that. Or even remove the greeny parts but do it carefully and slowly incase there's veins. If you do see blood quickly pop it back in

Still no progress.. but I've been up since yesterday 1am, so 46 hours later and I'm seeing stars, so will take a break & get some sleep.

Would you intervene if 18 hours had passed since external pip and no further progress?
