Hatching day draws near!View attachment 1387635

X2! Mine are due Saturday. I candled last night and I think might be bad. It had a large clear area at the Base of it. The rest are dark. The air sacs look a little small though. Turned humidity down.

So when I said its going to be hatching day soon, I didn't mean this soon!

Do you put anything under the eggs, like cloth or rubber gripper stuff?

It is! It must have started developing when I was storing the eggs to get more of them. OH well. I really hope this batch makes it. 5 more eggs are pipped/cracked and the cats are just baffled by the concept of a bird they cannot get to.

Yeah, we turned the lamp on yesterday when the eggs started rocking

I've just ordered a brooder plate. That should be here for weds. I've got to dig the brooder out my shed yet though!

Aww! That so sweet! There not bothered about trampling on the one that's just hatched!
I'm gonna drag it out tomorrow and give it a good scrub and disinfect. Let it air for a while.
