For me it's not rescuing them though
They get them back to good health then turn them out in the wild where they can't fend for themselves as they have become so used to being fed rather hunting for food. As they can't hunt they wither away in a long slow death. Best thing is just put them out of their misery at the start rather than let them suffer a long slow death. I will get off my soap box now LOL.
Charlie shot one a couple of weeks ago with only three legs :/ It looked a very neat stump too so my thoughts are they have removed a damaged leg and let it go again. It went to defra for testing but still waiting to hear the results on the three legged beast.
Game fair sounds good
More birds and some gundog events sounds good! Always good when you can keep the OH entertained

A lovely lady from Scarborough came all the way down and took them. She also took one cockerel. Then I sold a pair of Wyandottes which has left me with 3 Pekin and 2 Wyandotte cockerels left which are going to a fella with a small holding this afternoon. He has a large free range flock so I'm hoping they fit in ok.
