It was near where I first released her. Still not back but she did take her time to return before.

When I first start training a flock of young birds I have a reward awaiting them on there landing ramp. Shelled unsalted peanuts enough to feed maybe half the flock on a good day. It gets them down to buisness for the return flight after the first or second release.she did take her time to return before.
Glad to hear that!Boomer just got back! I think I'll keep loft flying her. 11 hrs to fly 6 miles! I don't like to say I've been a little worried but I have! And I think I'm gonna need a sputnik trap. She doesn't seem to like the drop down hatch on this one. She always lands on top and seems to struggle to jump down. I'm just glad she's back!

She might have got back quickly and sat around just out of your eyesight. I think it's so great she picked you and is staying loyal! The first time I released boomer when I was trying to get her to return to her original owner she spent the night out. She came back first thing the next morning! I'd love to get a tracker and see where they go when they do a flit! I'm just wondering if she may have been sat out of the sun somewhere all day. It's been so hot here recently.
Of course! Which reminds me, I'm running a little low on supplies! I have to get some feed on Monday so I'll grab a bag. Have you tried them yet?
I just wish that she would come and sit on my head like yours! That would be the icing for me! She is such a sweet little bird. I'm trying to gain trust in the lil' ones but I'm still getting clicked at!
It will be a stunning flyer! Blue check pied w/ white flights I believe.
