UK pigeon owners

This is like the trap I'm going to make.

im not paying that for one though! It's easy enough to make!

The main thing are the bob's, and they are reasonable on Amazon.
The rest is plywood boards, and if painted,,,,,, will hold up to weathering well.:thumbsup
Just curious, as the future use of your current loft. For breeding?
The bobs are cheaper at the feed store £8.50 for 60cm wide. The arcs will probably go in there for a while until I know they are paired for sure. I may use it for breeding. Not sure really yet! I would like to move it next to the new loft but there is a trampoline there.

I have a few contacts now. I need to contact two this evening. These are all real breeders all npa registered through the website.
Very good! I love their metalic colors and if I got my hands on one I could see myself trying a cross with my homers to bring in some of that look.

BTW, I've seen the Lumberyard Flock on their return from foraging the last few days. The main group is BIG, at least 2 dozen + and followed by a smaller group of 8 or so, and finally 3 stragglers. They have done extraordinarily well this year, much to the chagrin of the lumberyard staff. I sure hope this does not result the the exterminators being called in! Up til now I had thought their numbers were down - I was only seeing the trio or the smaller group...
For the first time today I saw my group of about 7 flyers and a lumberyard group maybe twice that, JOIN TOGETHER and fly a few laps for a minute or so about midway between Dragon Loft and Lumberyard Loft. It sent chills down my spine! Previously they always seemed to each keep to their own 'air space' lol

The colours are truly stunning. That's what mostly attracted me to them!
I get worried if ferals try to fly with mine. I think that if one of my males or females was to be wooed away I may not see it again. I try to keep them away now best I can. There isn't many ferals where I live though. Mostly at the stables and I think there numbers have increased substantially again. There must be easily over 200!
Is it moulting time over there in UK too? My birds look terrible! :( I have to keep telling myself they'll have shiny new coats for winter!:)
Mine have been a bit on and off with it so far. The fantails have both molted real bad but the racers seem to be stretching it out! I haven't had to vacuum the garden.....yet!
