Ulcerative enteritis?

I have 13 bobwhite quail 12 died already from that disease does that tell you something? The last one looks sick already I tried antibiotics it don't help

If they do in fact have UE, they can die quick. Within 2 or 3 days of you diagnosing it. So you must act quick. And you need to get them on the proper antibiotics to kill off the bacteria. What are you using? I have found that Duramycin works fast and well.

If yours are still dying after using the proper antibiotics, either you did/are not catching it fast enough, or they have something else.

Sometimes if it is bad enough, you can't save them. UE is very contagious, and there is a high mortality rate once they contract it. All you can do at this point is treat the entire flock and hope that some of them survive. If you lose the entire flock, or want to add new birds, the grounds will have to be thoroughly scoured clean to prevent the next batch of birds contracting it as well. I do believe that the survivors will be carriers for the rest of their lives however. So sorry.

Thanks, the last one escaped the makeshift cage, I won't have to watch it die, I hope that it is doing well (maybe it can't find food)
