Believe it or not Sadie Mae ia a top notch German Shorthair Pointer. She lives to hunt birds. When we are in the field hunting Pheasant I tell her find the chickens

And she doesn't bother your chickens? What a good dog! can I borrow her? cause when my chickens grow up they will likely be protecting my 5 lb wiener dog rather than my dog protecting them

how did you get a German Shorthair Pointer to not eat the chickens!!!! We couldn't even keep ours from eating the neighbors cats.

i wanna teach my dog to but she is a bichon poodle mix but she is sure she is a bird dog. she spends all day hunting birds i dont think anyone told her she is supposed to be carried in a purse haha when the gun comes out she gets so excitied so i wanna teach her to heard the chickens but im not sure to trust her. she has been by them and she just looked and didnt taste so were off to a good start
