My 2 best days with guineas.....the day I hatched out my 1st from shipped eggs and the day I sold my last one 2 years later.....

They are dumb obnoxious birds and now I know why I was told from a friend that they only kept guineas around to make the turkeys look smart! They could fly OVER my house, but they couldn't navigate a 4' fence and would run back and forth all day.

Just wanted to add that I couldn't keep my male guineas with roosters during laying season. He killed my black langshan roo and my young male turkey. They were free range during the day so had plenty of room to roam. They wouldn't just run them a few feet away, they would chase them around and around until they either got to tired or actually caught them....

I only have one guinea. I just love her. She lives with my hens & roo. Sometiimes she drives me crazy with her yelling, but when you hear it at 6 am you know you had better check. We have had some coyotes around the coop. Guinea always lets us know. Our roo mates with her! LOL she is not very fond of that

I would love to have a male for her. She is so silly.....yes she runs up and down the fence line trying to get back in the fence.
