Umbilical wrapped around foot!

Hello,

I have a newly hatched d'uccle chick that has its umbilical wrapped all the way around its foot. I'm not sure what to do in fear of breaking it since there is yolk left. Any advice?

I'm not sure what to do either but I think it try carefully to unwrap it WITHOUT pulling it which seems like it would be close to impossible.
I think I'd cut it.

I can't tell which side it starts at all. I'm nervous to try and move it.


I also am concerned it could be intestines. In which case I'd not want to cut it.


Thoughts?

I think it has to come off the leg before the chick pulls all its own guts out. I don't know what you should do.

Does this look like intestines. No blood at all but some liquid when I cut.
