yes i agree the white look like geese and the brown in the back look like runner ducks

what i purchased was white runner ducks

so thats what confuses me

are the white birds the parents and the seller aint got a clue

or are the eggs from the brown ducks behind and he stated their colour incorrectly

i dont care for colour i just want some runner ducks

geese for me would be too much hard work to keep in a backyard

may just hatch and sell them which will be such a great loss

the white ones are geese.... you can tell the difference between runners and geese by beaks!
runners are the brown ones in the back, though

well fingers crossed that the seller just named them white runner ducks but infact they are brown runner ducks and the geese are just there in the pic

i should get the eggs in the morning once i have them i will post the pics of them aswell

what confuses me is the 2nd and 3rd picture are defo geese

and the first pic is a mixed flock

I'd contact seller. some one needs to tell him he has geese if he doesn't know. lol

The whites are geese, see the nostrils are shaped differently? Odd breed, I've never seen anything quite like it before. It's got along thin chinese neck but no knob... chinese/roman x?
The ducklings in the 3rd picture are in fact ducklings though.
Compare to
gosling at left, duckling at right.
Either the seller doesn't know the difference (and that is frightening) or they uploaded the wrong photos. It's hard to imagine someone scamming the wrong birds on purpose... in every market I am familiar with geese and goslings are worth more than ducks.
