LOL. My roosters send me mixed signals, either that or they're just tricky lil' things. A couple of mine do the dance for me and I thought I was just well loved.
One in particular was dancing while I was trying to dish out feed, I stopped to admire his dancing and the lil sucker spurred me right in the shin! I guess he was upset I didn't squat for him. LOL I whomped him with the feedscoop out of reflex(he got me good, it hurt!) and then before he could recover and run, I grabbed him and he was carried around the yard for the rest of the day. I guess he realized he couldn't be pushing this hen into submission. He stays out of my reaching distance since. He still dances, just where I can't grab him. LOL
