Hey everyone, accidental horrible timing but I just had a wee clutch of 4 hatch while I'm on strict bedrest from surgery. I snuck out to see them when I heard we had babies (boy am I paying for it now) and I spotted that a wee runt has what appears to be unabsorbed yolk and pastey butt.

Do I try convince my husband to go out and cull or wait and see if she manages to pull through?

ADDITIONAL QUESTION
Our last clutch also had a mix of really yellow and one kind of brown one, that wee one didn't make it through night one. Potential issues with the genetics of whoever lays the wee brown tinted ones or coincidence?

I would give it more time, the sack should fall off on its own at some point.
Clean up everything you can besides the sack, clean all the pasty butt, and make sure the vent isn't being blocked! Use Q-tips to clean, and if there's hardened poop you can use some oil to loosen it up. Coconut oil is good to use.

I'm not sure on that!
